The Day Dustin Broke

Dustin officially broke edge on December 23, 2009 CE.

I'm not talking down on him or anything, but it has to be documented and recorded into our friendship history because according to him, I'm the only edge-friend who hasn't excommunicated him or chastised him. I'm also one of the few friends he considers legit edge hehe. To say that I saw this coming would be a lie. That was the last line of defense for him, to say "I'm strong, I don't need this." There were a hundred forces at once, working every day, trying to break him down, trying to bring him to the same level as the rest of the world...

It is really disheartening to see him break, because now I know that's how low he really is right now, and I'm powerless to stop his fall to rock fucking bottom. There's no greater heartache to me than knowing there's nothing I can do to help my best friend. Just know this D, when we have each other, we have everything. Friends til the carbonmonoxidal end...
